Our NZQA-approved Food Hygiene programme will provide you with the knowledge of food hygiene and safety, an essential requirement for anyone working in a commercial kitchen environment. Learn how to keep it safe, keep it healthy.
This one day training course can be carried out at one of our training centres in Auckland, Wellington or Hawke’s Bay. Click here for Course Dates In some cases training can be carried out at your place of work. You will finish with an assessment comprising questions which are answered in both open book and closed book format.
On this programme, you will have the opportunity to work on both theory and practical aspects of safe food handling to NZQA level standards.
The Food Safety (167) course covers basic food hygiene. On successful completion you will receive a training certificate, which shows you have met council regulations.
The Food Hygiene & Safety (167 & 168) course covers food hygiene and hazards in the workplace this is recommended for supervisors. This course requires you to have a practical workplace assessment.
